The Daughters of the American Revolution is a volunteer service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America's future through better education for children.

We would love to have you come join our National Society.  Any woman who is at least 18 years old and can prove lineal, bloodline descent to an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence is eligible to join the society.

South Dakota Society Daughters of the American Revolution has ten chapters across the state.  Each chapter meets regularly and we regularly participate in service activities around our communities.  The James River Valley Chapter NSDAR services the area in and around Aberdeen.
